Yeah, not gonna lie, it's really starting to feel like Arcane wanted to be three seasons instead of two. All these musical montages rushing through the changes in Piltover and Zaun society, Maddie and Iisha not having time to develop beyond plot devices for more important characters, Caitlin and Violet breaking up and making up in the space of a week, the complete non-sequiter of the Black Rose, whatever the fuck is going on with Jayce right now... heck, just the first act of season 2 alone could be expanded into its own season with so much more detail and setup for all the crazy shit that's currently going down. Part of what made Arcane's first season so fantastic is how it let you live within the changes the world and characters undergo, taking time for the weight of each falling domino to sink in before the next one drops. But things are escalating so frantically now and there's no time for us to process before the next plot point comes to drag us along.

I'm tired of Western animated shows losing their grip on their pacing. I'm tired of final seasons that don't have the space to give their biggest moments proper setup and closure. I'm tired of so many of the most creative stories in this medium being forced to settle for a compromised version of something that could have shone so much brighter.

Arcane deserved better, god dammit.

Binged all of One Piece Live action and it exceeded my expectations!!! Like I knew I was gonna enjoy this but THIS MUCH!!!!!

First of all the casting was spot on. This is my Luffy! This is my Zoro! This is my Nami! and so on.

The soundtrack!!!! Omg the soundtrack!!! When We Are played after the barrel scene! Binks sake for Shanks crew!! PERFECT

All the strawhats backstory captured the emotions very well. Expecially Nami's 'Help Me' scene. I cried multiple times throughout the season.

BUGGY! my king Buggy, I did not know what I expected but this was not it. They did a amazing job with Buggy. He kinda stole the spotlight (hehe) whenever he was present.

Garp and Koby addition was great. I am glad we got to see that. As a matter of fact the entire Syrup village story was much better here.

NAMI and KAYA bonding was not something I knew I needed until I got it. And omg KAYA and USOPP kiss!!!!!!! That was everything.

They made my girl Nami gayer and I love that for me ♡

I definitely need as many more season as it will take to adapt all of One Piece.
